Ruby-crowned Kinglet: Best Shots to Date!

Had a birthday this past weekend, but any fears that my aging reflexes are faltering were allayed by these shots of ruby-crowned kinglets enjoying the sap running from sapsucker wells in our maple trees. It also helped that the fidgety birds actually stayed in one place for more than a split second.

Bird Blooper #3: Ruby-crowned Kinglet

Can you feel my pain in these pictures? I hope so, because I’ve been trying since, what, November maybe, to photograph a Ruby-crowned Kinglet.
