Young Buck

See the lil’ antler nubbins? Cute! Devilish even! This young white-tail buck is one of a pair of twins that graze with their doe-mom at the edge of the woods.

Deer munching clover in the front yard
And occasionally smack in the middle of the front yard, where there’s loads of yummy, nutritious clover. A third young white-tail also lives out there with its mother, as well as a nice six-point buck, but they aren’t nearly as paparazzi-friendly as this guy, who’s patiently eyeballing me through the laundry room window.

Hm. I think it’s a fall thing. Or a before-you-wake-up thing. I’ll have Tito wake you up next time so you don’t miss the cuteness.
