Hey yo, where my bees at?!? Check out this awesome PSA about colony collapse from helpthehoneybees.com. Sponsored by Häagen-Dazs, the lush site (with relaxing birdsong!) contains info about our disappearing bees and how we might help them, as well as some fun time-killing stuff like the Sims-style Make a Bee page. Here’s mine:
Häagen-Dazs is also selling T-shirts via the site to raise money for honey bee research—shirts you might actually want to wear even if they weren’t for a cause. If only all the issues of the day were packaged this well. I mean, I know Al Gore won that big prize and everything, but don’t you wish his message had been just a little less preachy and a little more “Yo, where my bees at?”

Hi, Iris! This is da bomb! I kid you not, I was kinda dancing like that during the mammoth Sept close a couple of weeks ago. “4 minutes to Save the World” (Madonna feat JT +Timbaland) was my theme song for that last week … Save the Honeybees! Tick tock, tick tock

Faye!!!!!! Ah, the September close, the issue to mess up a perfectly good July 4th weekend…sung and danced to the tune of “4 Minutes to Ship the Ed Letter.” Speaking of shipping, I’ll ship your bee suit in time for the next close!
