Not to be a big stat junkie or anything, but April 2008 kicked the butt of every other month that came before it. I started this site a little over a year ago because a) everyone and their dog has a blog—in fact, this is possibly my fifth or sixth, and b) I’m too cheap and lazy to print out my photos, and it’s way easier to put them on a server than in some dorky scrapbook. (No offense to my scrapbooking visitors. If you’re offended, get in line behind the Sam Peabodys and angry old Bulgarian men.) But people actually visit Greensboro Birds, and come back, and comment, and link to my nonsense. Anyway, THANKS! I feel like several dollars today because of the graph after the jump.

Sure, it’s not like I’m the Gawker of Birds or anything, but how cool! That’s a LOT of bird lovers coming at me. I better start writing something relevant for a change…

Iris, of course we like you. I came here from the Nature Blog Network and I’m glad I did. It’s great to know a few NC bloggers. I’ve just recently found a few.
I love your blog.
Mary
