First, the weird part:

What? A dark-eyed junco eating suet? Is this a sign of global warming? Juncos were at the feeder the other day, and now this. I’ve got Al Gore on hold while I hammer out this post.

Look once, and there’s nothing. Look again, and there are 15 cedar waxwings right outside the office window, all making that high-pitched brain-altering tzeet sound.

Look again and the flock takes off en masse. Like girly-girls, cedar waxwings go everywhere in groups.
I also have juncos waiting in line to eat suet from a non-shelf type suet feeder. They seem to have observed the woodpeckers and nuthatches and copied them. But, that is just my observations. There might be something else going on that I did not see. Please let me know what you have observed.
