Tufted Titmouse: Big nut

Tufted Titmouse with big nut

I can’t believe it’s been so long since I’ve posted a Tufted Titmouse—I love these guys. They’re like little anime characters, with their little crest and big black eyes. Titmice are also the first birds to arrive when I put out a fresh load of nuts in the feeder. This one kept coming back for the biggest ones it could wrap its beak around, taking them back to a nearby tree to add them to its giant nut cache.
