Greensboro Birds

Hot off the scanner is this shot from Dennis. His vast birding estate is hosting a nest brimming with young Barn Swallows, which are being attended to in this pic by one of the folks. Barn Swallow babies are fed in order of begging intensity: Open your beak widest and highest and you get first dibs on dinner. Don’t worry about that lazy one in back, though—everyone ends up getting about the same amount of food in the long run.
