Greensboro Birds

Our friend Mary, who sent in this photo, has a perfect view of the swans and cygnets right from her apartment. It isn’t unusual for the big male Mute Swan to walk up to her window and give her cat the ol’ feathery eyeball. Of the two male swans in the compound, the one at Mary’s pond is the more badass by far, making this picture all the more adorable. How can you maintain that tough-swan exterior around so much cuteness?
